SHORTS DESIGN (January 2000–present)
Freelance Designer. With over 20 years of experience under my belt, I know how to give my clients what they want. I strongly believe in offering practical, cost-effective solutions that are in complete adherence to my clients’ recommendations. My focus is on developing solutions that are visually appealing and in concert with the vision and values of my clients. I also have experience working with a variety of print vendors and managing large work loads within tight deadlines. My ultimate goal is to give my clients the biggest bang for their buck.
Zeller Marketing and Design (June 2011–July 2014)
Senior Graphic Designer. Along with many other accounts, I worked on a regular basis with such high-profile brands as Kodak, Hitachi and Protection 1, providing a variety of creative through print, web, digital and interactive media. Projects included exhibit design, logos, branding, internal and external promotional programs, email blasts, microsites, pURLs, posters, catalogs, booklets, infographics, signage, billboards, magazine ads and direct mail campaigns.
Genesis Today, Inc. (January 2007–June 2011)
Senior Graphic Designer. As lead designer, and most of the time the only designer for the fastest growing company in Austin, I experienced it all. With high expectations and nearly impossible deadlines, my creative and project management skills were definitely put to the test. I designed and managed, from concept to print, a plethora of projects ranging from company catalogs to entire product line launches and just about every kind of supporting marketing collateral imaginable.
Vincor USA (September 2005–August 2006)
Graphic Designer. I was part of a creative team that was responsible for designing all the marketing collateral in the United States for Vincor, a Canadian-based wine distributor. I designed such things as wine labels, press kits, booklets, coupons, advertisements, posters, packaging, maps, CDs, t-shirts, store displays and a variety of other point-of-sale items. I frequently worked directly with printers, requesting job quotes, performing press checks when needed and providing vendors with print-ready artwork.
Sacramento State University (November 2002–September 2005)
Graphic Design Specialist II. I designed campus signage and revamped the College of Education website. I created and maintained faculty and department websites and provided graphic support designing flyers, brochures, logos, and other print collateral.

Proficiency
I am comfortable with both Macintosh (preferred) and PC platforms. My experiences, both educational as well as professional, have provided me with the necessary design and communication skills needed for any design job. I have experience with all phases of the printing process from pre-press to bindery. I am always up for a new challenge and possess the problem-solving skills required to make any adventure a success.
I am highly proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint).
